A heartbreaking incident took place on a US highway when a young woman lost her life in a head-on collision. The incident occurred just moments after she updated her Facebook status and posted selfies. Courtney Sanford, a 32-year-old woman, had posted on Facebook at 8:33 on Thursday morning, saying, “The happy song makes me so HAPPY.” Shockingly, the police received a call about a crash at 8:34 that same morning.According to the authorities, Ms. Sanford was driving alone on Interstate 85 in North Carolina on her way to work. For unknown reasons, her vehicle crossed the center reservation and collided with a recycling truck, causing a fire. The impact also forced another car off the road. It is important to note that there is no evidence suggesting that speed, drugs, or alcohol played a role in the accident.

The connection between the Facebook post and the incident only became known when Ms. Sanford’s acquaintances reported that her online posts coincided in time with the collision. Lt Chris Weisner, a spokesperson for the High Point Police Department, described the collision as a real-life public service announcement.
