Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan recently provided updates on a significant development regarding the controversial Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. Jordan recently subpoenaed Willis, requesting documents from the prosecutor who brought charges against former President Donald Trump.
During a discussion at CPAC 2024, Jordan was asked if he had heard back from Willis on the request for documents. However, the House Judiciary chairman noted that a former staff member from within the Fulton County DA’s office was in communications with Jordan’s committee. No, we haven’t heard back from her yet. We’ll see what we get, but there’s a whistleblower in her office who we have talked to our committee staff. And she the whistleblower I think she’s like four foot eleven. But Fani Willis had seven police like escort her out when when she fired this lady, because this lady raised the concern that Miss Willis was not spending federal funds in the, not following the grant the rules of the grant and the grant dollars in the appropriate manner,” he said.
Jordan continued detailing how Willis allegedly fired the whistleblower for raising concerns about financial impropriety. The representative also explained Willis’ seeming refusal to cooperate with the subpoena, forcing Jordan’s office to send the US Marshals on his behalf.
